An exploration of Sauvignon Blanc Styles from New Zealand, Loire Valley, South Africa, Bordeaux, California, Washington State, Chile and Argentina.  Sauvignon Blanc has long played second fiddle to the ubiquitous Chardonnay, but has more recently become the darling of restaurants thanks its lightness, high flavor intensity and great affinity with food. Classical as well as up and coming regions will be discussed and tasted with an eye on quality and value. Barry O'Brien has been in the fine wine trade for 25 years in various roles - Sommelier, Sales Agent, Wine Marketer, Wine Merchandiser and Importer. He is the CEO of Select Fine Wine and has handled many top quality producers including BABICH WINES, ODFJELL VINEYARDS, ARMADOR, ORZADA, ALIARA, BODEGA DEL DESIERTO, 25/5 LA PAMPA, AND Molto!
