Tea 201: Advanced Cupping - Angela Macke
$19.00

Explore, with all the senses, many straight, blended, and scented whole-leaf organic and fair trade teas from around the world. The rich history of tea includes both proven and speculative health benefits of oolong and black teas. You'll also learn about tisanes and why you should be drinking this celebration of herbs, flowers and berries. Included in the sampling are ceremonial grade Matcha tea, Chai latte, and another surprise or two. Angela Macke, a Registered Nurse from Leelanau County, owns  and operates with her family, a 25-acre certified organic and biodynamic farm.  She  is  a  Specialty Tea  Institute  graduate,  a  Co-Op America  Green  Partner,  an Advanced Master Gardener, and  a  member  of  the  U.S. Tea Association.  She  is  a  nationally  recognized speaker. As founder of Light of Day Organics, a popular small-batch Fair trade Tea company, she was named Environmentalist of the Year for Business in 2007. She is an honors graduate of Western Michigan University, and of Bronson School of Nursing in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
