Parisian Neighborhood Cooking from a Michelin-starred French Chef - Danyel Couet
In our continuing effort to bring you the finest chefs, the Classic went international this year. Couet is a veteran of acclaimed restaurants around Europe and the winner of numerous international prizes including a silver medal at the Bocuse d'Or. He's currently head chef at Fredsgatan 12, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Stockholm. But Paris is Couet's home, and his new book, The Paris Neighborhood Cookbook explores ethnic neighborhoods in the City of Light - African, Arab, Jewish, Greek, Indian, Asian, Bistro, Market and Street Food - all the while keeping his keenly trained eye open for how the various cooking styles adapted to French culinary sensibilities.
